Torie Pendleton
Resident in Counseling
Life can feel heavy when you're carrying so much for everyone else.
Maybe you're caring for children, a spouse, aging parents, or simply trying to keep up with the endless responsibilities of daily life. Maybe anxiety keeps your mind constantly moving, OCD has you stuck in exhausting cycles of doubt and uncertainty, or a difficult season has left you feeling overwhelmed, discouraged, or emotionally drained.
Whatever brought you here, you don't have to navigate it alone.
I believe therapy should be a place where you can finally exhale. A place where you don't have to have the right words, the right answers, or everything figured out before you walk through the door. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and accepted while also helping you move toward meaningful change.
My approach is warm, grounded, and practical. I enjoy helping clients slow down, make sense of what they're experiencing, and develop tools that make everyday life feel more manageable. While I value emotional support and validation, I also believe therapy should help you build greater confidence, self-understanding, and resilience over time.
I frequently work with women navigating anxiety, OCD, caregiving stress, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions. I incorporate approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), mindfulness-based interventions, and DBT skills to help clients develop greater emotional flexibility and healthier ways of responding to life's challenges.
For clients who desire it, I am also comfortable integrating spirituality and faith into the therapy process in a thoughtful, respectful, and non-directive way.
Clients often describe me as calm, caring, attentive, and easy to talk to. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or simply ready for something to change, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you move toward greater clarity, stability, and hope.
